Il nuovo lavoro in studio uscir\u00e0 in tutto il mondo il prossimo 23 ottobre e conterr\u00e0 12 nuovi brani ma anche nuove versioni di vecchie canzoni di Springsteen mai pubblicati in nessuno dei suoi precedenti album in studio come Janey Needs a Shooter, If I Was the Priest e Song For Orphans (queste ultime due fanno parte dei leggendari demo che incise per presentarsi alla Columbia, negli anni \u201970).\u00abAmo l\u2019essenza quasi commovente di Letter to You \u2013 ha spiegato Springsteen \u2013 E amo il sound della E Street Band che suona completamente live in studio, in un modo che non avevamo quasi mai fatto prima, senza nessuna sovraincisione. Abbiamo realizzato l\u2019album in soli cinque giorni, e quella che ne \u00e8 venuta fuori \u00e8 una delle pi\u00f9 belle esperienze di registrazione che io abbia mai vissuto\u00bb. Insieme a Springsteen, hanno lavorato a questo progetto Roy Bittan, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent, Stevie Van Zandt, Max Weinberg, Charlie Giordano e Jake Clemons.
